In recognition of National Day of Empowerment (NDOE), join Thursday Network on Saturday, November 15th  for a day of tabling and community engagement  in partnership with DC’s Representative Oye Owolewa Expungement Clinic. Providing critical advocacy, voter engagement, financial empowerment, housing, and entrepreneurial resources to the community, in support of  those who are seeking opportunities to take informed steps in their journey.

  • 9:00 am- 12:00pm - Volunteers will support event set-up, tabling, engaging community members, and answering questions regarding Thursday Network and Greater Washington Urban League
  • 12:00 pm- 2:00pm - Volunteers will support event clean-up, tabling, engaging community members, and answering questions regarding Thursday Network and Greater Washington Urban League

Founded in 1992, Thursday Network is comprised of over 200 young professionals committed to serving the Washington Metropolitan area through community programs and partnership that address the Empowerment Goals of the National Urban League. The mission of TN is to provide a forum for young adults, ages 21 – 40, to focus their energies on community service, professional development, and political involvement.
