Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd. These names are just the latest in a long line of Black men and women who have fallen victim to police and others who do not value Black lives. With everything going on, combined with the stress and uncertainty of COVID-19, Thursday Network invites members to join Safe Space: An Open Discussion where we will come together to share, listen, and find community in the midst of what’s been happening. We hope this will provide fellowship, connection, and hope for the future as we invite licensed professional counselor Walter Stamp and policy director Preston Mitchum to join and provide perspectives on mental health and self-care as well as how to drive change and find solutions.
