The best way to get the neighbrhood involved and pumped about what we do is to bring Thursday Network and the Greater Washington Urban League (GWUL) directly to them. Our Block Is Hot Canvassing will incorporate members of Thursday Network, the GWUL and the Guild as we go into the 8th ward and share with residents what GWUL has to offer, how to engage with Thursday Network and the Guild. We will also learn the priorities of the community leading into the November elections. Join us from 1-3pm on 4/28. RSVP HERE

Founded in 1992, Thursday Network is comprised of over 200 young professionals committed to serving the Washington Metropolitan area through community programs and partnership that address the Empowerment Goals of the National Urban League. The mission of TN is to provide a forum for young adults, ages 21 – 40, to focus their energies on community service, professional development, and political involvement.
