School Beautification with Comcast Cares

Annually, Comcast hosts a school beautification project at a local DC Public School. During this event, approximately 500 community volunteers from different organizations in the community come to volunteer for 3 hours on a Saturday morning. A light breakfast is served and a boxed lunch. Each community organization that brings a specified number of volunteers receives a money donation.

This year, the school identified for the beautification project is Hendley Elementary School ( 435 Chesapeake Street SE, Washington, DC)

Onsite volunteer registration begins at 8:30am at the school. Adults, children and youth are able to participate in this community project.
