Thursday Network's 2009 Personal & Professional Development Workshop Series

Empower yourself with personal and professional development by attending the Thursday Network PPD Series designed specifically for young professionals focused on taking their skills to the next level.

The second workshop in the three-part PPD Series will focus on Leadership and Public Speaking for the Young Professional and take place on Saturday, March 21, 2009, starting 11 a.m. at the Greater Washington Urban League (2901 14th Street NW, Washington, DC).

Workshop Topics Include:
	So You Want To Lead: An Assessment of Leadership Capabilities;
	Leadership in Politics: The Basics of Leading & Running for Political Office and Campaigns; and
	Public Speaking: I Know What I Want to Say, But How Do I Say It?

Facilitators Include:

	Krysta Jones, Founder and Chair, Virginia Leadership Institute; and
	Theresa Caldwell, Toastmasters International
